Our museum is a small museum, but filled with content. Every time you visit us, you’ll find out something new. Join us across the different rooms!
Are there guided tours?
Yes, of course. Write us in advance to anticipate us your visit and therefore assist you or your group the best.
Is there an adapted access for people with a disability?
To access MUPYP, you need to climb stairs. We are located in a historic building and, due to legal reasons, we are not allowed to perform any modification to adapt it for people with a disability. If this is your case, write us to announce us your visit, so that we can help you get upstairs and downstairs with the help of our staff.
This is our multi-purpose room, where a timeline will welcome you to be familiar with it. Also, here is where MUPYP events, presentations and workshops are held.
In this room you’ll find information about the hand-made elaboration process of pulque, the tools and their importance in the history, since prehispanic days until nowadays.
In this room, you’ll take a walk to past and present pulquerias, learn about the false stereotypes of pulque, traditional sayings and phrases and a peculiar collection of traditional pulque jars.
VISIT THE LIBRARY OF THE “SEMBRANDO LETRAS” COLLECTIVE!
Dance, music, talks, book presentations, workshops, contests… Pulque is culture, and the best way to honor it is by holding the best cultural events, from new artists seeking a spot to renowned artists wishing to spend a good time with us.
